When is ECCNA 42?
The main convention takes place from 23 to 25 July 2027. A pre-convention boat trip is planned for Thursday 22 July 2027.
Where is it being held?
At the Mediterranean Conference Centre, Old Hospital Street, Valletta, Malta.
Is registration open?
Not yet. The registration page is available as a preview, but registration and payment are currently disabled. We will clearly announce when online registration opens.
How much is registration?
The planned Early Bird rate is €30 per person.
Are activities included in convention registration?
Ticketed social activities are booked separately unless included in a package. Package options combining convention registration and selected activities are planned.
What currency is used?
All ECCNA 42 prices and online payments are displayed and charged in euro (EUR). The total amount payable will be shown before an order is confirmed.
Can I register from any country?
Yes. ECCNA 42 registrations and tickets are electronic products, with no physical delivery or export restrictions. Availability limits may still apply to individual activities.
How will I receive my registration or ticket?
After successful payment, the purchaser will receive an email confirmation with a unique order number and purchase details. The registration or ticket confirmation serves as proof of purchase. Please keep it on your phone or as a printed copy. Photo identification may be requested when collecting a convention pass or attending a ticketed activity.
What if I do not receive my confirmation email?
Confirmations are normally expected within minutes of successful payment. If you have not received one within 24 hours, check your spam or junk folder and then contact registration@eccna.eu.
Is clean date collected during registration?
No. Clean date is not collected as part of ECCNA 42 registration or checkout. Any Clean Time feature on the website is separate from registration and does not form part of your order.
What is the refund policy?
Registrations and activity tickets are non-refundable and non-exchangeable, but may be transferred to another person on request. If ECCNA 42 or a ticketed activity is cancelled by the organisers, the affected item will be refunded in full. Donations are normally non-refundable except when made in error and reported within 14 days. See the Refund & Cancellation Policy for the current details.

Who can attend ECCNA 42?
ECCNA 42 is open to NA members and anyone interested in recovery from drug addiction, as well as their family, friends and professionals working in the field. Most of the programme – meetings, workshops and speaker sessions – is built around NA recovery, so it will be most relevant to people connected to the Fellowship.
Do I need to be an NA member to attend?
No. Narcotics Anonymous has no membership requirement beyond a desire to stop using drugs, and ECCNA 42 does not check membership status at registration. You’re welcome whether you’re a newcomer, a long-time member, or someone supporting a friend or family member in recovery.
Is ECCNA 42 accessible for people with mobility needs?
We want ECCNA 42 to be accessible to as many members as possible. Detailed accessibility information for the Mediterranean Conference Centre – step-free access, accessible restrooms and similar – will be published on the Venue page as it is confirmed. If you have specific accessibility needs, please get in touch via the Contact page in advance so we can help plan for them.
Do I need a visa to attend?
It depends on your nationality. EU/EEA, Icelandic, Liechtenstein, Norwegian and Swiss nationals can travel with a valid passport or national ID card. Other visitors may need a Schengen visa, and visa-exempt non-EU travellers should also check the ETIAS requirement before booking. Full details are on the Travel to Malta page.
How do I get to and around Malta?
Most international visitors fly into Malta International Airport (MLA), about 15–20 minutes from Valletta. From there you can take the Airport Direct bus, a taxi, or a pre-booked transfer into Valletta. Public buses and the tallinja app are the easiest way to get around once you’re here.
