Privacy Policy
Pre-launch version. Online registration is not open yet. This Privacy Policy is an initial version and will be reviewed before payments are enabled.
1. Who is responsible for your data
ECCNA 42 registration and event administration is operated for ECCNA 42 by Narcotics Anonymous Malta, registration number VO/2598, trading as ECCNA 42 / NA Malta.
Postal address: Millenium Chapel, Triq il-Knisja, San Giljan STJ3043, Malta
Email: eccnapp@edmna.org
Telephone: +356 7946 6566
2. Information we may collect
When registration opens, we may collect information needed to administer ECCNA 42, including name or badge name, email address, country, registration type, event selections, order and payment references, check-in status and communications relating to an order.
Participants may also choose to provide a clean date. This field is optional and is treated as confidential information. It is intended for convention clean-time administration and aggregate statistics.
Our systems may also record technical information needed for security and operation of the website, such as timestamps, administrative audit records and limited technical logs.
3. Why we use the information
Information is used to process and administer registrations and event tickets, issue confirmations, manage check-in, provide participant support, maintain financial and order records, protect the registration system and produce aggregate convention statistics required for ECCNA reporting.
4. Registering other participants
One purchaser may register more than one participant. If you provide information about another person, you should have that person’s permission to provide the information for ECCNA 42 registration purposes.
5. Payments
Online payments are not yet enabled. The planned payment setup uses a payment page hosted by Global Payments. ECCNA.eu is not intended to store full card numbers or CVV data. We expect to retain the WooCommerce order reference and payment-provider transaction reference needed for reconciliation and support.
6. Who may receive the information
Access is limited to authorised ECCNA 42 trusted servants and service providers where necessary to operate registration, payment, email, hosting and event administration. Information is not intended to be sold or used for unrelated commercial marketing.
7. Security
ECCNA 42 guidelines require secure handling and storage of participant information. Access to registration administration is restricted, and the website uses encrypted HTTPS connections. Payment-card entry will be handled by the payment gateway rather than stored in the ECCNA registration database.
8. Retention
Personal information will be kept only for as long as needed for event administration, financial and legal record-keeping, support and dispute resolution. A final retention schedule will be confirmed before online registration opens. Information no longer needed should be deleted or anonymised where appropriate.
9. Your choices and rights
You may contact us to ask about personal information held about you, request correction of inaccurate information or raise a privacy concern. Other rights may apply under Maltese and EU data-protection law depending on the circumstances of the processing.
10. Contact
